PLEASE PRAY FOR KALEB

Latest Update

Many times at XEKE.com, we get hate mail, because of our political commentary and analysis. As one of the owners of XEKE.com, I am proud of our website for many reasons. We are honest and opinionated. We define Christian Conservatives (Catholic and Protestant). We are proud of our belief in God, family values, life, and core Conservative principles.

That being said, I am never more proud of having a growing and loyal fan base as when we can help out those in need, or those who have a story that needs to be told. We support our troops 100%. We have tried to bring the tragic murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom from Tennessee to a national stage.

"The most important way to help is to PRAY for Kaleb's recovery!"
Sadly, we have another emotional, heart wrenching story that we hope you will support. Baby Kaleb, the first and only son of Kristy and Josh Schwade, is currently in a Tampa Bay area ICU, as a result of an abusive, reckless, and irresponsible babysitter who is being charged with the acts that have led to his Shaken Baby Syndrome. This story has touched my wife and I emotionally. Kaleb was born 11-27-2006. Our son John was born 11-26-2006. My wife's name is Kristen, Kaleb's mom's name is Kristy. After viewing pictures of precious Kaleb, numerous pictures of him look very similar to our John. They have the same Exesaucer, some of the same clothes, and the same bright eyed smile. On a more personal note, I have a nephew who suffered a brain bleed and subderal hematoma when he was just a few weeks old. At the time, the prognosis for my nephew was similar to Baby Kaleb. Today, over 11 years later, my nephew is a bright, energetic, smart, athletic, normal little boy, with minimal side effects of his courageous battle. I can only pray that Kristy and Josh are able to share the same memories with Kaleb.

Below is a slideshow of Baby Kaleb, some words from his mother, and information on how to donate to their family. XEKE.com urges all readers and viewers to please support the Schwade family in two ways. First of all- prayer. Please pray for Kaleb and his family. Please pray for a miracle. Also, please donate to the family. There are obvious monetary costs that need to be covered, and as true, compassionate Christian Conservatives, and this is a time where true God loving parents need our support.

XEKE.com wants Kristy, Josh, Kaleb, and their family to know that we will continue to pray to our loving God and that the His Grace may shine down upon them in their time of struggle and need. God Bless.

A message taken from Kristy on Kaleb's MySpace page:

Kaleb is the only son of Kristy and Josh. At five months old, he experienced Shaken Baby Syndrome by the hand of a babysitter. He has been in the ICU since May 9th, and is fighting for his life. This page is set up to help Kaleb and his family. Kristy and Josh spend mostly all of their free time at the hospital aching for a moment to hold their now sixth month old son.

Formerly www.myspace.com/helpkaleb. The information is still the same, with info on similar families with similar needs.
Expenses are mounting. This page is set up so that YOU can play an active role in helping Kaleb and his family. The most important way to help is to PRAY for Kaleb's recovery! Secondly, you can donate funds to cover medical expenses, lawyer fees, and other expenses by donating to the Help Kaleb Fund. 100% of funds will be used to help Kaleb's family. Please make checks payable to Kristy Schwade, and send to PO Box 291494, TAMPA, FL 33687-1494 OR just use the Make A Donation button to donate instantly to Kaleb's mothers Paypal account with a credit / debit card. The other day Kaleb haden't seen me for most of the day and I went and laid next to him and he got so excited and smiled real big! Then he started to babel to me. It was like he was asking how my day was... It is the cutest thing. He does the same to Josh when he's been at work the whole day. It is nice to see that he recognizes us and shows us that he loves us.

I have been asked several times if we have gone to trial yet... the answer is no. I don't know when we will go but I don't think it will be anytime soon do to the defense. I am sorry I don't have any more info...

Praise God for all that he has done for Kaleb and our family!
