LLOYD LEVINE:
The Most Dangerous Man in California

You may be asking yourself "Who is Lloyd Levine, and why is he the most dangerous man in California?" His name does not sound ominous or threatening like Osama bin Laden or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He looks unassuming, but remember, looks can be deceiving.

Lloyd Levine is an extremely far left Democratic Assemblyman in California's 40th Assembly District. Lloyd Levine represents everything that is wrong with Democratic politicians, and he proves that his "San Francisco Values" that he shares with Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein, etc. are truly out of touch with mainstream America.

Assemblyman Levine has three key legislative initiatives that prove how great of a disconnect that he shares with the rest of the country. His first legislative goal is to outlaw incandescent light bulbs in California. For those of you who do not know, an incandescent light bulb is the regular light bulb that your family has used for over 100 years that in the past few years all of a sudden has been the reason that the world will soon come to an end due to global warming.

It is not the responsibility of any government to mandate that animal owners have their family pet spayed or neutered.

Levine wants to outlaw incandescent light bulbs and make it mandatory that the average consumer is forced to purchase compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). I understand the value of CFLs. I have CFLs in every light in my house, but that was my choice to use CFLs. I understand that CFLs last longer and save the consumer a lot of money in the long run. That being said, in a capitalistic government and society that we live in, it is not the responsibility of the government (local, state, or federal) to tell an American which light bulb he or she can or cannot use. The last thing we need in America are "light bulb police" making sure that we are only buying CFLs.

Levine's second legislative goal is to use tax payer dollars to spay or neuter every cat or dog in the state of California before the animal turns four months old (the best veterinarians know that you do not spay or neuter before six months), in what he calls the "Health Pet Act of 2007." That's right, you work your butt off at your job 40+ hours a week, 12 months out of the year, so that Lloyd Levine can go around the state and spay/neuter every critter from Del Norte down to San Diego. What happens if you chose not to have your dog spayed our neutered? You guessed it- you will be fined. Now, I am not a veterinarian (obviously this is not Dr. Ryan writing this article), but I fully understand the health benefits of having your dog or cat spayed our neutered. My female dog is spayed and my male dog is neutered. That being said, it is not the responsibility of any government (local, state, or federal) to mandate that animal owners have their family pet spayed or neutered.

Levine's final key legislative goal is to legalize euthanasia in California. That's right folks, Assemblyman Levine wants to make it perfectly legal to go ahead and put a hit out on grandma and grandpa. Levine's "Compassionate Choices Act of 2007" makes it legal to put a dying loved one out of their misery. Keep in mind that "Dr. Death" Dr. Kevorkian served eight years in prison for his role in the killing of others. Levine is looking to circumvent Supreme Court rulings in an effort to make it legal to end the life of innocent Californians.

Why is this important to you and me? Although I do not live in California, and many of you do not live in California, if any of these three pieces of legislation pass in California, you can make darn sure that other bleeding heart liberals across the country will use these laws in an attempt to force them down the throat of everyone in the union. Congress is considering outlawing incandescent light bulbs across the country, based on Assemblyman Levine's California proposal.

What can you do to help? If you live in the 40th Assembly District in California, you must not re-elect Levine, and make sure that he does not advance his political career. If you live outside of the 40th Assembly District, or outside of California, please make sure that you stay abreast of local, state, and federal legislation. Do not let these extremely far left liberals advance their anti-capitalistic agenda, do not let these bleeting heart libs force their misguided views on the rest of the country.
