MISGUIDED POLITICS

Ladies and Gentlemen, rest easy tonight. As our generation faces a social security crisis, the slaughter of more than a million babies a year, and the greatest threat to Western Civilization in the history of mankind (Islamic terrorists), Congress decided to ban incandescent light bulbs. That's right, in 2014; you will no longer be able to buy the same light bulb that you have used your entire life. CFLs (compact fluorescent light bulb) make sense. CFLs save time and money. They truly are a good value in the long run. That being said, since when is it the duty of Congress to legislate what kind of light bulbs the consumer can purchase? I love CFLs, I have CFLs in every outlet of my house. That being said, not everybody likes them, not everybody should be forced to like them, and Congress grossly overstepped their authority with this ridiculous ban of incandescent light bulbs.

Oh yeah, soon, you will no longer have the choice to drive a Ford "Big Dog Daddy" Super Duty pick up truck, because your Congress is forcing Detroit to raise it's minimum MPG to 35 mpg. Make sense? No. Predictable future American job losses? Yes. Is there any wonder why the Pelosi/Reid led Congress has the lowest ratings in the history of Congress? Pelosi told the American consumer that safety and comfort are no longer an option when buying a car. The American consumer will be left with a fleet of small, light weight, expensive death traps as cars. You will essentially be able to buy a coffin that gets at least 35 mpg.

40 million plus potential tax payers have been "choiced to death."
The Pelosi/Reid Congress feels that the President should not have authority to keep Americans safe by wire tapping calls of known/suspected terrorists. The Pelosi/Reid Congress feels that we should close Gitmo and give known terrorists a "fair trial" in the U.S. The Pelosi/Reid Congress is banking their entire political future on the defeat of America in the War on Terror.

Fortunately for Reid, Pelosi, Hillary, Barack Hussein Obama, and their ilk they have Time Magazine in their back pocket. Time Magazine is invested in the defeat of our military as well. Why else would they bypass General David Patraeus, the greatest military strategist since WWII as their Person of the Year, and select Russian President Vladdy Putin? Why? Because Time Magazine (along with the New York Times, L.A. Times, NBC, CNN, etc.) have their reputation on the line. They have all called for and claimed defeat of "Bush's War." The only thing is, thanks to General Patraeus' surge strategy, the U.S. is clearly winning the War on Terror, al Qaeda in Iraq, and the rest of the Islamic terror organization, is on the run. U.S. military deaths are down. Iraqi women are going to school, voting, working, taking part in Democracy. Have you noticed that it has been months since the Today Show opened with a doom and gloom story on the War? If you did not know any better, you may think that the War is over, because the main stream, drive by media simply refuses to report anything positive in the War on Terror, especially in Iraq.

Bottom line, in 2014, social security will be on the brink of bankruptcy. 40 million plus potential tax payers have been "choiced to death" since Roe v Wade made it legal for a woman to murder her baby. Radical Islam will still be waging war on the West, while attempting to annihilate every American. But you can rest easy tonight, because the evil incandescent light bulb will not be around in 2014, and you will be forced to drive a 35 mpg coffin on wheels, all thanks to your 2007 Democrat Congress.
