Dear Mr Myers.

Why must you work on keeping the divide in this country strong? We are the UNITED STATES of AMERICA why must we sit her and only hear one side of the issues. If you honestly believe that the republican party actually believes in the conservative movement then you are sadly delusional. I am not writing out of hate but out of confusion of the way many people go into politics. Why must republicans and democrats act like the other is so evil and against the interest of America. This is such a sad view point that many people, Coutler, Limbaugh, yourself seem to take. You constantly cite Fox News which everyone knows is the most biased news corporation in existence. Murdoch has already come clean about this issue. I agree CNN is also quite liberal, but it is always best to watch every angle possible and take consistency. To only look at one side and automatically believe the other is wrong is just a terrible way to deal with things. How can this country ever come together if this is the mentality you want to take and impose on the American people?

You will most likely call me out as a socialist or some other "dirty" word to try and make me feel un-American or disillusioned about what is truly going on in America. Let me explain that I am a devout Christian who is both saved and deeply values the Christian movement. If you truly would like to support John McCain because he is the republican nominee then you are just straight naive and only vote the party lines when the values the parties claim they stand for are not true. I guarantee that Barack Obama is 100x more religious that McCain. Yes he may be considered a liberal, but a liberal when defined means "giving". Why do we stress to make this term so "evil"? Are we not giving as Christians? I like to believe that I am, and I like to think outside the box in ways to bring this country together and make sure we keep this great country functioning.I will not continue on this rant, but I will definitely be voting for the man that will bring this country together with good ideas. You can bring up the Fox News clips on what has Obama done, but I have done my research and yes he is a great man, and a great speaker.

I hope that you can start to view both sides of an argument and realize that one side can not always be right. This conservative movement that you love to bring up is great, but don't fool yourself into thinking that republicans are the only conservatives, because often times they are not even conservatives to begin with.

Your Friend,

Dan Mills

Dan Mills,

Where do I begin? I'm not sure that you processed much of what you read on XEKE.com because our point is that the Republican Party is not interested in the Conservative movement. Additionally, perhaps we ought to define Conservatism because we're clearly coming from different starting points.

To the greater point, though: Words have meaning.

It is the Left that is dividing America! From the demonization of President Bush to the shreading of the family unit to the constant and ever-increasing nanny state, the Left (Liberals) are out to redefine America and to gain as much power for themselves. Conservatives just want to be left alone. They don't want the government telling them where they must go for medical care, they don't want the government confiscating their income and wages, they don't want their childrens' school telling them how to apply condoms, they don't want the local library defining what is and is not pornography... need I go on?

We don't provide Liberal analysis because this can be had by turning on the television or reading the majority of the print media. I believe in Conservatism, and I believe in standards. Those who oppose Conservatism, and all for which it stands, are at odds with my political worldview.

Supporting McCain isn't a party support issue for XEKE.com, because we're not a party advocate, but a Conservative movement advocate. Show us a Conservative Democrat, and we'll support him/her 100%. Our (current) support of McCain boils down to two issues: national security and judicial appointments. While McCain, in our opinion, has numerous shortcomings and faults, these two issues are of paramount importance. Obama, in our opinion, is clearly the loser when it comes to these two issues. Your gurantee of his practice of religion and your claim of research means nothing to XEKE.com. We are well aware of his anti-American, Afrocentric church in Chicago. Additionally, perhaps you could enlighten us of your "research." Obama has such a short political career that he has left us with little to examine.

Finally, you've missed the entire point. XEKE.com has examined both sides of the issues, and that is why we have taken an active advocate position for the conclusions to which we've come.

Thanks for participating on XEKE.com.
