God is Pro-Abortion

God's law sometimes requires the execution (by burning to death) of pregnant women. Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. Now I'm guessing that you're a Social Conservative, so you're against abortion BUT won't help SUPPORT a BABY once it's born....You know by supporting WIC, Welfare and other programs that will actually SHOW that you care about BABIES. Making sure that it's fed, clothed and grows up in a home that has heat and running water, etc.

See that's one of the differences from a Social Con and a Lib, LIBS actually care how a child grows up. Cons only care about what happens before they are born.

You can cite lines from the Bible that the authors at Skeptics Annotated Bible tell you to give when arguing why God is Pro-Abortion. But what you fail to do is pay any attention to the context of those scriptures, and this is very important. Before you and the rest at S.A.B. accuse Christians of not being well-read and of selectively quoting scripture, you should be sure that you're not doing the same.

Additionally, when the context of the Bible is taken into account, what about God's character or the life of Jesus leads you to believe that God is interested in destroying fetuses? Especially in the fashion of modern America where abortion has become a form of birth control, a badge of honor and a convenience?

Finally, you may be able ease your conscience by telling yourself that you care about babies after they're born, but the very social programs you're so proud of do very little to move the dependent population into the ranks of the self-sufficient. Rather, America's social programs are designed to keep the dependent dependent. Perhaps the government could learn from Churches and other charitable organizations about how to serve the public, and make their dollars go further instead of getting tied up in bureaucracy and government waste.

Conservatives aren't as evil as you think.
